Donations Collected for the Columbia-Greene Humane Society

A special event held Thursday July 28th at the Claverack Town Park brought in much needed supplies for the Columbia-Greene Humane Society. The event, part of the Claverack Republican Club's Summer Concert Series, included a performance by the Tailgate Band. Those attending the free concert were asked to consider making donations to the Humane Society. When the night was over, donations of cat food, dog food, kitty litter, dog bones, cat treats, blankets and related supplies filled a pick-up truck. All donations will be turned over to the twin-county rescue organization, based in Claverack.
