Claverack Republicans pick Brandon and Gerlach at Caucus
Incumbents Mike Brandon and Bill Gerlach were nominated for their respective positions at the Claverack Republican Caucus August 20 at Town Hall, Route 217.
Brandon is running for another four-year term as Claverack Town Justice, a position he has held since 2007.
Gerlach is running for a one-year unexpired term on the Claverack Town Board. The opening became available when Clifford "Kippy" Weigelt was elected Town Supervisor last fall, leaving two years unexpired on his Town Board seat. Gerlach was appointed to the Town Board last year but must run in the November 4 general election for the final year of Weigelt's unexpired term.
